Your jewellery will be accompanied by a Certificate of Appraisal and Diamond Grading Report. Every large to medium-sized diamond is certified by the GIA or EGL, the world’s leading diamond authorities, and is laser engraved with its Report or Certificate number. Diamond laser inscription is the best way to identify a diamond — you can also have a personal message or date inscribed for special occasions and anniversaries.
A consultation with our gemmologist will guide you through our collection of high-quality loose diamonds and naturally coloured diamonds. Our stones encompass a wide range of size and quality, including diamonds sourced from Belgium, Africa, Russia, Israel, India and Canada. Canadian diamonds are mined in the Canadian Arctic, and are prized for their uniqueness and value, typically costing around 10-15% more than a diamond from elsewhere of the same specifications in colour, clarity, cut, and carat weight.
As a Canadian company, we are proud of the reputation of Canadian diamonds, and firmly support the global campaign against conflict diamonds. This campaign has resulted in the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, established in 2003 to prevent diamond sales from financing war, by preventing “blood diamonds” from entering the mainstream rough diamond market.
Euro Jewellery takes the following steps to ensure that we never use conflict diamonds:
- We only buy diamonds from the largest and most trusted diamond cutters and dealers in Belgium, Russia and Canada, all of whom are in conformance with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme.
-We never purchase diamonds in circumstances where the provenance of the diamond is at all questionable.
We deliberately keep our design studio and workshop operations local, and strive to use suppliers with similarly high values. Our ethical and environmental standards mean that extraordinary custom-designed jewellery comes with peace of mind.
